The Community @ eMain
Who we are?
The Community @ eMain is a collaborative partnership of civic, educational,
business, and governmental partners dedicated to the advancement of education
and skill levels of Greater Louisville's workforce to meet the demands of
the emerging knowledge economy.
The
founding partners in this historic initiative include the City of Louisville,
University of Louisville, Kentucky Community & Technical College System/Jefferson
Community College, and Jefferson County Public Schools. By building upon each
partner's strengths, the Community @ eMain is dedicated to supporting the
innovation and promotion of high-end technology pursuits.
By locating in the Clock Tower Building on East Main Street, the partnership serves as the anchor tenant for the eMain district. This historically significant location is ideally suited for linking the partners toward a common goal of advancing Greater Louisville's workforce. The Clock Tower on East Main Street serves as a hub of information and development for the technology and business community.
